Take-off to Portugal 2009

As regulars to this blog will have realised, I didn’t have an internet connection in Portugal last week but I’m going to post each day’s events on (mostly) the days that they occurred.

Our flight was due to leave just after 12 noon, an unusually civil time for one of our trips which seem to mostly depart at silly o’clock in the morning. The fire alarm kept going off at Gatwick so we were held up for an hour or so.

On arrival at Faro airport we found out that someone had rather inconsiderately written-off our mini-bus that morning and we had to moan a lot before they gave in found a replacement – the girls were looking a little fed up by now and hungry.

The villa was very nice when we got there, although a little closer to the golf course than we had been promised, so there were a lot of golfers in the Algarve the following week who got a little more than they had bargained for, most seemed happy though and we didn’t get any complaints.

Monika Returns

It was Monika in front of my lens today who was in great form. After yesterday’s shoot, she and Cikita went to near-by Bluewater shopping centre, so I was pleased to see their car back in the driveway this morning after the problems they had locating the studio on Monday night.

Again we shot content for all four OT sites to add to the sets Steve had produced yesterday and as usual a couple of videos.

So that’s the end of a short week photographically, tomorrow there is some new furniture arriving for some of the other sets in the new studio.

Hopefully I’ll have time to post a few video excerpts from the last two days’ shoot over the weekend.

Next week I have the first shoot to do for our new site OnlyNewFaces.com, a great forum for aspiring models and a free site to join and cast your critical eye of some rising stars.

Cikita

Cikita (pronounced Chikita) is the first model to christen our new studio, yes, after a week of disruption, shifting, humping, lugging etc. and no photos, I’m up and running again in the new place. And very nice it looks too I think. Not all of the rooms are finished yet – more props arriving on Friday, but enough in place to be going on with, you’ll see the rest over the course of the next few weeks.

Cikita is new to OT and has popped over from the Czech Republic where many of her model friends have recommended her to come and shoot with us, and I think you’ll agree from the following samples that Cikita is a very welcome addition to our bevy of Czech beauties.

Don’t forget the full sets on each of the Only sites has around 130 images per set – so there’s plenty to choose from and all the images are available in huge 2000 x 3000 pixel files – the whole sets can be easily downloaded as complete .zip files for you to keep on your own drives forever too.

There are videos too for all the sites, as usual, if I get some time over the coming week or so I’ll stick up some behind-the-scenes snippets for your perusal and entertainment.

Jenni P is over at OT today, it’s over 2 years since I last shot with her last in Prague and I think she’s improved, if you think that’s possible, since then and did look absolutely fantastic today. With her happy disposition and boundless energy she was a delight to work with. You can see how she radiates in the photos.

Unfortunately Jenni’s lost her purse, she thinks she dropped it when getting out of the taxi last night, we’ve rung around all the local firms to ask them to check with their drivers – so fingers crossed it’ll turn up. Anyway, she’s still smiling so take a look at these fine samples from today’s endeavors – a bumper crop of first class teasing images.
