Mixed fortunes on Day 2. Everything started off well with an early start to catch the low morning sun. That was great for the first couple of sets, one each of Sandra and Tammy in the hay meadows, we then went into a wooded area, and just as I’d finished setting up, the rain started. We went back to the house and shot a couple more sets and wait and see if the weather improves for a shoot in some evening sunlight later on. The girls went off for a lie down.
The rain stopped by the evening but there still a lot of cloud about so I only managed the one stills set but did get enough sunlight late on to shoot a video each with the girls – they could look pretty good when edited together.

Ok, it’s Day 2 really, but our first day of shooting. I thought we’d check out some pastures new today as I think this must be about my sixth or seventh trip her and I know there’s a huge area to explore for good scenery, sadly we’re short on time. Anyway, I located an interesting looking lake on the map and off we headed. You have to remember we don’t have sat-nav and the maps over here aren’t exactly Ordnance Survey quality.
We finally found the lake about 2 hours later, and very nice it was too, about 1800 meters/6000′ above sea level, still with pockets of snow remaining.
Here’s a bit of video of our lunch-time picnic, then Tammy shot doing one of her videos later on in the day when we stopped at a dried-up river bed on the way home to catch the late evening light.

It was also pretty good weather for shooting, maybe a little more cloud around than I would have liked, but it added to the drama in some shots.
I shot with Sandra today for all of the OT sites – I haven’t categorized which sets are for which site on this trip as it all needs sorting out when we get back home and the best thing to do is to probably join OnlyAllSites to make sure your not missing out.

Well it wasn’t looking good outside and the web-cams up at the ski resort didn’t look much better either – thick fog everywhere, temperatures rising and snow melting fast. I still had to drive out to make sure it wasn’t just localised bad weather, and after driving 2 hours decided it wasn’t, so back to the chalet to shoot. They’re not the largest of places that we’re staying in but they’ll do for the odd day in emergencies to shoot in.
I shot Alexis S today with 3 sets for OnlySilkAndSatin.com, starting off with this silky little party dress and shiny sheer light tan pantyhose.

There’s lots of fog and rain this morning so I’ve decided to shoot the OT pod-cast this morning, well the indoors section anyway, and see if the weather cheers up this afternoon.
I knew Joceline was fantastic on video and Bebe turns out to be a real natural too – great confidence and delivery of her lines, the whole thing sounds very natural.
We had to travel out in the afternoon as I needed to film the first part of the pod-cast outside in the snow, again we went all the way up to the top of the mountain to see of we could get above the cloud, on the web cam up on the ski slopes it looked a bit better, when we got there it wasn’t so foggy but it was still raining – you can here the rain hitting the mic occasionally on the pod-cast, the finished article’s below.
There was no chance of doing anymore work outside today so we shot a couple of video and stills sets inside, I shot 1 set with Bebe for OnlySilkAndSatin

We all stayed in this evening while I cooked a large lasagna. It’s not easy finding recognisable ingredients for cooking with over here so I’m not exactly sure what sort of mince went into it but it tasted fine.
Alexis S and Kelly McGregor arrived from the airport around 9.30 this evening to join the party.
Let’s hope the weather’s better tomorrow.
The snow’s melting fast, which isn’t good. The vegetation’s pretty brown and dead under the snow and doesn’t look very pretty. It’s quite warm for the season – up in the high single centigrades – which is nice for the girls. 
To start with we ventured up a mountain trail a little further on from where we finished shooting yesterday.
Finding snowy locations is proving pretty hard, we traveled way up some treacherous mountain track above Kostenets and shot in some pretty, woodland areas and a sunny little clearing on a plateau scattered with Christmas tress.
