I met Rachael bright and early in the car park of the Travelodge in Surbiton where we’d both stayed last night. I expect Rachael had imagined staying in 5 star hotels in exotic locations when she lifted the Miss Great Britain crown, not Surbiton Travelodge, but then there is a credit crisis on. 🙂
The location was only 5 minutes drive away and belongs to quite a well known photographer, you will probably have seen his work on Athena cards and billboard ads if you were around in the 80’s. Anyway it was a great house with plenty of space a good diversity of interior decor.
Rachael’s more used to shooting commercial work rather than glamour, and her contract as Miss Great Britain prevents her from shooting topless, still, we got some fantastic images on the day, Rachael looks amazing and was a real delight to work with.
